These events are a great way to meet other creatives; we host them in different venues across the city and invite local speakers to share about their practice and business experience. Plenty of collaborations have started because of a conversation at one of these events!
  
  
• Being part of a friendly, inclusive network. Any individual or business involved in cultural and creative activities in Southend-on-Sea is welcome to join! Which means you are likely to meet a diverse group of practitioners from a range of different industries.

• A regular newsletter of opportunities, events and updates from our advocacy work sent direct to your inbox.
  
  
• Contributing to advocacy work to help our community thrive including better pay, improving working conditions and representation of the creative and cultural industries of Southend in political spaces. 

It is free to be a member of the network, and all membership levels receive the same benefits. However, we do ask that you donate if you can, as the network can only continue with financial support. We operate a tiered system, so please pay what you can afford. 

An annual membership subscription can be considered a tax-deductible expense if you are freelance, a sole-trader or otherwise self-employed.
